CHRISTIAN SCIENCE READING ROOMS:

COMMUNITY SPIRITUAL RESOURCE CENTRES

Christian Science Reading Rooms are found in cities and towns all around the world. They are "oases" in seas of busyness; community resource centres for finding information on spirituality, prayer and healing.

Reading Rooms are staffed by attendants ready to listen, discuss Christian Science, and explain how to use the resources. These "shops" are each church's weekday "open door"; a resource centre for finding information on the timeless principle of good; on effective prayer and Christian healing which is both spiritual and scientific.

Reading Rooms provide quiet areas for prayer and Bible study or research, directories of people in the public practice of Christian Science healing, and computer access to websites on prayer and Bible-based healing, including those listed below.

In most Reading Rooms the highly regarded international newspaper, The Christian Science Monitor is available either in print or online at csmonitor.com>

They are also a sales point for most editions of the Bible, authorised Christian Science texts and DVDs, including Mary Baker Eddy's seminal Bible study text Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.

Individual Reading Room addresses and opening hours are included on each branch church's web site.
