CHRISTIAN SCIENCE READING ROOMS:

COMMUNITY SPIRITUAL RESOURCE CENTRES

Christian Science Reading Rooms are found around the world. Staffed by attendants who will listen, explain, and help you find what you're looking for, they are each church's weekday "open door"; a resource centre for finding information on the timeless principle of good; on effective prayer and Christian healing which is both spiritual and scientific.

Reading Rooms provide quiet areas for prayer and Bible study or research, directories of people in the public practice of Christian Science healing, and computer access to websites on prayer and Bible-based healing, including JSH-Online, and Australia-wide church sites. They are also a sales point for most editions of the Bible, authorised Christian Science texts, DVD and CD productions.

Christian Science Reading Rooms are the major outlets for Mary Baker Eddy's seminal Bible study text Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, as well as the award-winning Christian Science Monitor..

The following sites are examples of what's available online at a Christian Science Reading Room: csmonitor.com and the Mary Baker Eddy Library, for research on the Founder of Christian Science.
